Ensign’s Log, Entry 6: 2015, A Brief Review

The year is almost gone, and I’m so grateful for everything that’s happened in the past twelve months! So many exciting, wonderful, and unexpected occurrences made 2015 an amazing year for me. Here are a few highlights:

March 2015 — Published Augment, my first novella, a YA science fiction story about a girl and her AI friend who must solve the mystery behind her augmentation before it’s too late.

June 2015 — Graduated college with a degree in Human Ecology.

October 2015 — Started my awesome new job as a editor-contractor, which allows me to travel. Saw Phantom of the Opera on Broadway, thanks to being able to travel, as well as (some of) the Metropolitan Museum of Fine Art (it’s too big to see all of it in a day.)

November 2015 — Started writing Upgrade, the sequel to Augment, which continues the adventures of Viki and her friend Halle, and delves more into Halle’s past.

December 2015 — Made detailed writing and blogging plans for 2016. Also got to see the tree in Rockefeller Center, which was beautiful.

I can’t wait to see what the next year has to offer! I’ll be posting soon about my plans for 2016, so keep an eye out for that. In the meantime, what were some of the best things that happened in 2015 for you?
